Rise Up for The Hamilton General
Hamilton business innovator, leader, and philanthropist hosting big concert to support local hospital.
It’s going to be a night Hamiltonians will never forget.
You see, a well-known business leader and philanthropist has announced that he is hosting a major concert to help support The Hamilton General Hospital, a leading and innovative regional healthcare centre that specializes in cardiac and vascular care, neuroscience, trauma and burn treatment, stroke and rehabilitation, and more.
The funds raised will go towards innovative equipment and technology at the world-class hospital.
“Rise Up” will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, from 6:00 PM to Midnight at The Hamilton Convention Centre. The night will feature amazing food, drinks, laughs and lots of dancing with an incredible and popular band from Toronto that will be announced in mid-July.
Rise Up” will also feature a live and silent auction, open bar, unique activities for all guests, local Hamilton talent and comedians before the headliner hits the main stage.
For Cigna, The Hamilton General holds a special place in his heart.
In late 2022, Cigna’s mother was admitted to The Hamilton General for three weeks. During that time, Cigna and his family experienced first-hand the challenges facing health care workers.
Seeing these challenges, Cigna saw an opportunity to help. “Rise Up” was born, and the rest is history.
