AdMass Amplifies Awareness of Charitable Causes on Social Media

AdMass has launched a unique initiative to waive its platform fee for charities to help them run their campaigns and spread awareness of important social causes using everyday social media users.

From the ALS Ice bucket challenge, to the Black Lives Matter movement, and to Ukraine Strong, it’s clear that social media has become more than just about posting your best selfies. It has in fact heightened our exposure to injustice, social inequality, poverty, and so much more.

And that’s a good thing.

Social media has given people more choices, more information, and more opportunities to educate themselves on important social issues. But that’s also why it’s become harder than ever to decide which causes to support.

AdMass is a marketing platform whose goal is to democratize the world of influencer marketing so that everyday consumers are rewarded for posting to social media, supporting the brands they love.

Now the company wants to take that goal one step further in support of charities.

“When I used to fundraise for UNICEF, it was very old-school – quite literally going door to door,” laughs Yuri Kaplan, CEO and co-founder of AdMass. “I remember people would always tell me how they would donate more if they could.”

With AdMass, users can support as many charities as they want, and they are not limited in supporting a cause through donations alone. The consumer marketing platform is running a campaign that waives its services for charities. Charities can use the AdMass platform for free to amplify their current campaigns and raise awareness of their causes on social media at no cost.

“The difference between my door to door knocking days and today is that there are more than plenty of social causes that need support. Inflation and unemployment are at all-time highs, so even if people wanted to donate and get behind social causes, they’re still limited in what they can give. We want to change all that,” explains Kaplan.

AdMass is bridging the gap between social media and social causes so that people are not limited in their ability to offer their support in any way they can. The best part is that you don’t need to be a celebrity to raise awareness. It is the everyday social media user – the people themselves – that make a difference through their friends and family networks.

“That interconnectedness between friends and family is the key to raising awareness of social causes,” explains Kaplan. “AdMass makes it possible for charities to reach the everyday social media user more easily and run campaigns that more effectively raise awareness for social causes and movements.

“People may have a finite amount of money, but not a finite amount of heart,” adds Kaplan.
